While learning from the cosmo-vision and cosmogony of the indigenous community of “Los Pastos” from Colombia, and in search of co-creating a symbology that could be translated to the needs of contemporary women around the world; "Lunar Mythology” is based on the beauty, the power and the magic that the cosmos and the moon, has over humans and cultures. How it's cycles and movements influence our bodies, minds and moods, how the mysticism that emerges from the moon shapes our modern rituals, spirituality and femininity.
In the collection the moon is a representation of our own life phases and the feminine energy that lays within all of us.
MAZ aims to actively be a part of contemporary women’s lives, our clothes seek to become an amulet of guidance and protection in their life paths, through the deliberated positive energy that comes from handcrafted and handmade pieces created by strong women artisans.
